What is Sit & Stay? +
Sit & Stay is a platform that connects pet owners with verified, trusted pet sitters in their neighborhood. We make it easy to find reliable care for your pets, whether you need dog walking, pet sitting, overnight care, or training services.
How do I sign up? +
We're currently in beta testing and not yet accepting public sign-ups. Join our waitlist to be notified when we begin accepting users in your city. Beta testers will receive priority access once we open for public registration.
Which cities do you operate in? +
We're currently conducting beta testing in select areas of Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. After successful beta completion, we plan to launch in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata. More cities will be added based on demand and beta feedback. Join our waitlist to stay updated!

For Pet Owners

How are pet sitters verified? +
All pet sitters undergo a thorough verification process including background checks, identity verification, and reference checks. Many of our sitters also have certifications in pet care, first aid, and training.
How much does it cost? +
Prices vary by sitter, service type, and location. Hourly rates typically range from ₹700 to ₹1200. You can filter sitters by your budget and see exact pricing before booking. We charge a small service fee to maintain the platform.
What if my pet has special needs? +
Many of our sitters have experience with pets requiring special care, including senior pets, those with medical conditions, or behavioral needs. You can specify your pet's requirements when searching, and communicate directly with sitters before booking.
What is Live PetCam Access? +
Live PetCam Access is our optional portable camera service that allows you to watch your pet in real-time while they're with a sitter. The camera provides secure, encrypted video streaming directly to your phone.
What if something goes wrong? +
All sitters are trained in pet first aid and emergency procedures. In case of emergencies, sitters will immediately contact you and seek veterinary care if needed. We also provide 24/7 customer support for urgent situations.

For Pet Sitters

How do I become a pet sitter on Sit & Stay? +
Click "Apply Now" on our homepage to start your application. You'll need to provide information about your experience, complete a background check, and pass our verification process. The entire process typically takes 7-10 business days.
Do I need experience to be a sitter? +
While professional experience is great, it's not required. We welcome anyone with a genuine love for animals and willingness to learn. We provide training resources and guidelines to help you succeed.
How much can I earn as a sitter? +
You set your own rates! Most sitters earn between ₹700-₹1200 per hour depending on their experience, location, and services offered. Many of our full-time sitters earn ₹30,000-₹50,000 per month.
When and how do I get paid? +
Payments are processed automatically after each completed booking. Funds are transferred to your bank account within 3-5 business days. You can track your earnings in real-time through the app.

Bookings & Payments

How do I book a pet sitter? +
During beta testing, booking is available only to invited beta testers. Once we officially launch, you'll be able to browse sitters in your area, filter by rating, price, and services, read reviews, and book directly through our app. You can also message sitters before booking to ask questions.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets. All payments are processed securely through our encrypted payment gateway.
What is your cancellation policy? +
Cancellation policies vary by sitter. Generally, cancellations made 24+ hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a partial charge. Details are shown before you confirm your booking.
